The Géoazur laboratory conducts research in the fields of Earth, Ocean and Near Universe Sciences, based on multidisciplinary expertise in geology, geophysics, seismology, geodesy, geochemistry, hydrology, geography and planetology. With a team of over one hundred permanent researchers, lecturers and engineers affiliated with five funding institutions - Université Côte d'Azur, Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, CNRS, IRD and CEREMA - Géoazur carries out a wide range of activities, from fundamental research to practical applications, and from instrumental development to continuous observation as part of national services. Our laboratory is also firmly committed to international scientific cooperation and support for research and training in developing countries. Teaching within the University's Earth Sciences Department and the OSU Training Unit is also one of our main missions. Finally, disseminating knowledge is at the heart of our work, enabling us to share our advances and discoveries with as many people as possible.
