L'Enseignement de l'Electronique Accessible aux étudiants Handicapés

Résumé

A study was initiated in the host service of students with disabilities at the University of Bordeaux 1 (PHASE) to enable these students to have the opportunity to achieve the same work practices their classmates. This requires work to adapt the workplace of the student and teaching of work practices. The trades training related to the EEA use more and more tools to create Man-Machine interfaces. The complex physical actions needed for these trades are reducing. So, it makes these jobs accessible to persons with disabilities. Beyond our training mission which must reflect this evolution, our universities have a mission of information in the direction of the industry to reduce their potential doubts to recruit disable persons. We must open our courses for students with disabilities. Our project, named EEAH (Teaching Electronics accessible to students with disabilities), is to build a database that will facilitate the implementation of our approach in other universities. Sharing knowledge acquired in a dedicated website will permit us to exchange experiences throughout France full. The communication around this site will allow industry to find practical applications of the accessibility of a job in the framework of the EEA. We have made an experimentation this year within the Department of Physical Measures Polytechnic University Bordeaux 1. This operation, presented in this article, is relied on the presence of a quadriplegic student in this department.
