Les activités de recherche du groupe se situent à l’interface entre la physique et l’ingénierie. Les systèmes physiques étudiés sont pour la plupart hors-équilibre ou très éloignés de l’équilibre thermodynamique, dans les domaines des plasmas froids et de la thermique.L’équipe a développé une forte expertise dans la modélisation et la simulation des plasmas-hors-équilibre et des phénomènes de transfert radiatif.
