STUDY OF SURFACES COVERED BY THIN FILMS, BY SPEC AND RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY
Résumé
Two new techniques, well-suited to the in-situ study and identification of the thin films grown during electrochemical processes are described here: on the one hand the spectrophotoelectrochemistry (SPEC) i.e., the spectral analysis of the photogenerated electrochemical currents in the film, and, on the other hand, Raman spectroscopy during electrolysis. These techniques are applied to the study of the passivity of iron.
