Welcome to the IBGC HAL collection

The Institute of Biochemistry and Cellular Genetics (Institut de Biochimie et Génétique Cellulaires) is affiliated with the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences at the University of Bordeaux and the CNRS Biology division. The IBGC comprises 13 teams with a strong identity focused on fundamental biological research, particularly on topics such as cell division, genome maintenance, chromosome segregation, aging, mitochondria, and energy metabolism. Its strengths lie in the diversity of model organisms used, ranging from the yeasts S. cerevisiae and S. pombe to rodent and human models, as well as the complementary expertise in cell biology, genetics, and biochemistry.
