Recent studies have recognized the power of new combinations of antibiotics such as bedaquiline and imipenem although in vitro data have questioned this combination. We report that the efficacy of the bedaquiline plus imipenem treatment relies essentially on the activity of bedaquiline in a C3HeB/FeJ mice model of infection with a rough variant of M. abscessus. The addition of imipenem contributed at clearing the infection in the spleen. %G English %2 https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03032987/document %2 https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03032987/file/AAC00114-20R1_Merged_PDF%20%282%29.pdf %L hal-03032987 %U https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03032987 %~ INSERM %~ UNIV-TLSE3 %~ CNRS %~ APHP %~ UVSQ %~ UNIV-PARIS-SACLAY %~ BS %~ UNIV-MONTPELLIER %~ 2IC %~ IPBS %~ UVSQ-UPSACLAY %~ ANR %~ GS-HEALTH-DRUG-SCIENCES %~ UNIV-UT3 %~ UT3-INP %~ UT3-TOULOUSEINP %~ UM-2015-2021
