The patients have no history or recollection of previous malaria episodes. These cases add to the limited evidence on the relapsing nature of Plasmodium ovale, after a febrile episode. In regions where P. ovale is not known to be autochthonous, active follow-up of treated imported malaria patients is highly recommended following their return, particularly to areas nearing or having achieved elimination. %G English %2 https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03059786/document %2 https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03059786/file/Liew%20et%20al.%202020%20Submission%20PDF%20%28HAL%29.pdf %L hal-03059786 %U https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03059786 %~ CEA %~ CNRS %~ DSV %~ CEA-UPSAY %~ UNIV-PARIS-SACLAY %~ CEA-UPSAY-SACLAY %~ CEA-DRF %~ GS-HEALTH-DRUG-SCIENCES
