These hominids might represent the oldest near-modern human specimens from anywhere in the world. Our datings and other recent evidence indicate that the chronological framework of Homo sapiens evolution in Africa needs to be revised. %G English %2 https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03741311/document %2 https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03741311/file/Modern%20human%20origins%20backdatedHALversion.pdf %L hal-03741311 %U https://cnrs.hal.science/hal-03741311 %~ SHS %~ MNHN %~ CNRS %~ UNIV-PERP %~ IPH %~ IPH-ACTU %~ FRANTIQ %~ ALLIANCE-SU
