Quantitative Analysis of NH 2 * in Premixed Ammonia-Air Flames
Résumé
Ammonia combustion has been recognized as one of the feasible solutions to solve the energy crisis and reduce carbon emissions. There is still a knowledge gap in the fundamentals of ammonia combustion that demands to be filled before exploiting it as a stable source of energy. Chemiluminescence has not yet been widely studied in ammonia-air flames and so, has not been implemented in any of the kinetic schemes. This work attempts to provide quantitative measurements of the chemiluminescence of NH2* from ammonia-air flames at atmospheric conditions.
