Εἰ + futur: un cas atypique de proposition complétive en grec classique
Résumé
This article is about the grammatical means of expressing the attitude of the speaker when it is oriented towards future events. Whereas cognition predicates entertain a certainty relation with these events, emotive and evaluative predicates dissociate the time reference and the doubt inherent to future by grammaticalizing a somewhat deviant type of conditional clauses (εἰ + future) as complement clauses.
