Erratum: Ring statistics analysis of topological networks: New approach and application to amorphous GeS2 and SiO2 systems

Résumé

Our expression of the theoretical maximum size of a ring that can be found in a network, TMS, for the second definition of a ring presented in the article (Section 2.2.2) has to be corrected: (1)TMS=2×(Dmax-2)×(Ncmax-2)+2×Dmaxwhere Dmax is the longest distance, in terms of chemical bonds, separating two atoms in the network, and Ncmax represents the average number of neighbors of the chemical species of highest coordination. * The size of the general connectivity matrix presented in Section 3.2.2 is (R − r + 1) × (R − r + 1), the size of this matrix can changed depending on the number of ring sizes that can be found in the network. Furthermore the matrix can be reshaped as we did it in the article when presenting in table A.6 the connectivity matrix of the networks in Fig. 9: two sizes of ring exist for the networks in Fig. 9, thus the connectivity matrix has a dimension of 2 × 2.
